Meet Your Instructor
Dr. Eugene R. Zampieron, ND, RH(AHG) [DrZ] has over 35 years of experience as a licensed Naturopathic physician, registered professional medical herbalist, ethnobotanical researcher, botanical formulations inventor, educator, lecturer, spokesman and radio personality. He is the co-author of the books ARTHRITIS the Alternative Medicine Definitive Guide and Supplements for PAIN and the Natural Medicine Chest, and the Natural Medicine chest. A 1990 grad of Bastyr University, DrZ, as he is known by his students and audiences, was on the founding advisory board that helped establish the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM) as the first accredited naturopathic medical college on the US Eastern seaboard. DrZ has trained hundreds of Naturopathic doctors and physicians internationally with his encyclopedic knowledge of plants and science-based natural medicine. He retired from full time teaching in 2022, having taught many courses at UBCNM, including Rheumatology and Natural Pain management, botanical medicine, phyto-pharmacognosy, medical botany, botanical pharmacy & men’s health. He now teaches at UAGM school of Naturopathic medicine in Puerto Rico, leads ethnobotany trips, and is faculty for AARM in their herbal medicine fellowship.
